Review Policy

We are committed to honesty in our reviews. We do not receive any compensation for our reviews, other than the occasional free review copy from a publisher or author. Rest assured that a free book in no way affects our commitment to honesty in our reviews. If we love it, you'll know. If we hate it, you'll know. In the event that we are reviewing a free review copy, it will be noted below the book summary with the words "this book given free for review."

If you would like to send us a copy (or several) of your book for review please contact me. I prefer print copies but I will read e-books in any format except PDF.
Submissions in comments will not be accepted. Please read this entire page in order to avoid our DO NOT DO! criteria. We thank you for respecting us and our time, and we respect yours!

**Not accepting erotica at this time or the foreseeable future. I prefer fiction. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, YA and Paranormal Romance & Urban Paranormal.

Somethings you need to know:

- We only recommend books that we have read, reviewed, and rated at least 4 or 5 stars.
- We DO NOT review books in the order we receive them. At Gothic Fate we read what we want to read when we want to read it. We have large stacks of review copies and, unless we have agreed to a specific review date, a review copy will come out of the stack if and when it calls our name. Some books are louder than others.


Do not do list:

- Do not send chic lit and/or erotica.
- Do not apply for a review if you do not want an HONEST review. We post what we truly think of the content, and not all books can or will get rated 4-5.
